Fiji brace for England battle Fiji brace for England battle Fiji players have prepared for their World Cup opening game against England by listening to recordings of their opponents' fans cheering at Twickenham.

The islanders play the hosts in Pool A on Friday in front of 82,000 fans at the sold-out stadium, which will also host a 20-minute opening ceremony.

Crowd noise was played through PA systems as the team trained in Fiji.

Coach John McKee said: "It was good in those sessions, it affected the intensity of the training. "

He added: "It was the normal crowd noise from Twickenham that was taken off some of the footage."

The Fiji players have spent more than two months together in a summer training camp to prepare for the World Cup.

McKee will select his side to face England on Wednesday, with their opponents already having named their line-up.
